This autumn Music Declares Emergency will be inviting choirs across the UK to sing a message to the world, during COP26 - the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.
We aim to place action on climate at the heart of public thinking by mobilising choir networks across the UK to create the largest musical event ever seen in the UK. At the end of October choirs across the nation will perform the iconic Louis Armstrong song ‘What A Wonderful World’ arranged by acclaimed choir leader Mark De-Lisser. We are asking choirs, audiences and the public to sign our letter to their MPs calling for action on climate change.
1. Sign up here to tell us you’re taking part.
2. Download the parts and piano backing track for Mark De Lisser's arrangement of 'What a Wonderful World' to learn with your choir. Sheet music is available or you can learn individual parts by ear. (A fully produced backing track is on it's way!)
3. We are inviting choirs all over the country to share their versions of the song on October 30th.
